The Legacy of King Shaka Projects

A section 21 organisation focusing on the legacy of King Shaka, with an award in the like of the great King Shaka given to deserving South African individuals who have contributed positively to society.

This award was meant to highlight and communicate a different little known side to Shaka’s butcher and ruthless warrior demeanor.  It was to highlight his strategic and humanitarian side – to unify the African tribes.  The award was meant to reward the legacy of individuals acting to unifying families and communities as well as unselfishly devoting their lives and services to the uplifting of societies.

The goal was to assist Charities in the KZN area focusing on HIV/AIDS. Contact with the biological family of Nkosi Johnson, a global Aids icon, was made only to discover that they lived in a rural village in New Castle without running water….
